We thought we’d take a stroll
but there was lightning
So we took a seat and watched the show
of lightning
The air fairly crackled with an energy
Your face fairly glowed, you were so lovely
In the lightning

What’s the chance we’d both get struck
by lightning?
Can’t you feel it coursing through your blood
like lightning?
If there’s storm clouds around we’re the eye of the storm
While the thunder resounds through our very souls
This lightning
